As part of our commitment to employee wellbeing and gender equity, Intertek France has introduced several countrywide initiatives providing resources that aim to educate and offer enhanced support for women’s health.

Support starts at our offices and laboratories where free sanitary products are supplied in all women’s restrooms. Additionally, new joiners at some of our sites receive sample sanitary products as part of their welcome kit. The initiative aims to alleviate stress and encourage open conversations, supporting greater understanding around menstruation in the workplace.

In an increasingly dynamic and digital world, our initiatives also include the provision of specialist online applications for employees and their relatives affected by perimenopause, menopause or endometriosis. These apps offer services such as symptom tracking, medical information, lifestyle guidance and personalised support programmes, enabling women to better understand and manage their individual health journeys.

To ensure that education and awareness extends beyond just the women using these services, our French HR team is running an internal communications programme. Across a variety of channels, the team shares useful information and resources to help all colleagues better understand women’s health issues and support the women in their lives, both in and beyond the workplace.

Through these impactful initiatives, our team in France is showing real leadership in building a more inclusive, supportive and open work environment for everyone.
